Click Sign up — register with your email address (it's free to create an account)

Once logged in, you'll land on the API Keys page. Click "Create new secret key"

Give the key a name — type KeyPane — then click Create secret key

A key appears starting with
sk-proj-... — click the copy icon next to it. This is the only time you'll see it.6
Paste the key into the box above, choose your model, and click Save
